...I finally update again! :D
This past week was just so hectic, and I still have an enormous sleep debt. Not even falling asleep in random places throughout the afternoon on my first full day home has helped much.
What has me so bushed is the fact that Otakon (held a mere forty-five minutes from my house, in Baltimore, fortunately) has had me going since last Thursday, and there was a psycho Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows release party that I had to attend for a good five hours on Friday night/Saturday morning.
I've got to gather my bearings. :3
Plus, I'm reading said Harry Potter book as we speak, and I really want to know what happens. I don't want to be spoiled, so I'm avoiding the Internet like a plague.
Perhaps a real actual update will occur sometime in the near future when I have gotten myself back on track.
So, that parody I posted.
Yeah, I tried to copy it.
IN THE DARK, YES, I KNOW. :D :D :D
The song is really catchy. :D Not to mention that is has HeeChul AND KiBum in it; they're two of my favorite Super Junior members!
I know every single Super Junior/Rainbow Romance fan has seen this parody 50+ times, but I really enjoy it and would like it to be here.
I just would.
It was thrilling. :D And all for one of my little brother's friends. He's the cool one. He thrusts blank CDs in my hands whenever he comes over and demands that I give him JPop. Which I do gladly, of course.
Today I even snuck some Super Junior and some Super Junior T in there, too (on a CD I labeled as C-ute, no less). I wonder if he can tell the difference between Japanese and Korean? :3
Anyway, now that I'm on the topic of Super Junior...
I've come to the revelation that SungMin is an absolute sweet-heart. <3
I have videos to prove this.
He starts the song off in the most precious little yellow Charlie Brown shirt. I WAS HOOKED IMMEDIATELY.
It didn't help that he ran to hug the camera near the end (39 seconds left). Something inside me collapsed.
As a result of an organ deflation, I felt the need to look for SungMin cute-ness overpower me.
:D :D :D :D :D :D
He might out-do the kitten itself here in the cute department. If not, then it's really close.
What can I say, I love cats. ^_^
BUT SUNGMIN IS STILL JUST TOO DARLING, 'KAY?
Back on the Berryz Koubou note, I realized that I had a lot of random Berryz songs just sitting on my hard-drive that I had never heard before. Needless to say, I listened to them today while the CDs were burning, and I discovered the awesome-ness that is 'BERRY FIELDS'.
I just now was listening to it extremely loudly in the car with all the windows down. Berryz is great to drive to.
First off, I fell in love with Super Junior's Kim HeeChul the instant that I saw him strut up between the others and flick away a tarot card during his first solo in the 'U' PV.
Yes, I know he looked like a female. Shh, it's part of his charm. He's awesome.
Secondly, even before I saw HeeChul for the first time, there was a golden-era Morning Musume song that I absolutely adored and even videotaped myself doing the dance for. This song had been donned 'Love Revolution 21'.
AND THEN GUESS WHAT?
I can't even fathom the marvelousness. I think my fangirl heart is going to burst with pure excitement.
So I went and saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night, and even though the book wasn't a favorite for me, I really enjoyed the movie.
Except for the girl beside me that continuously pulled her cell phone out and flipped its maniacal blue light in my face every few seconds. I thought I was going to gauge my eyes out.
But that's beside the point. D:
The new director (I think it's a new one?) did a really good job, in my opinion. I thought he picked a really good Umbridge, a decent Tonks (though I missed the spiky hair), and even a nice Luna.
Oh, and I loved the glimpse of little Snape. I screeched in joy, even if for a half-second.
AND WHEN DID DUDLEY BECOME 'GANGSTA'? OH LORD. I FELT LIKE IMPLODING WITH AMUSEMENT. Though I did feel bad for him during the Dementor attack, in which the Dementors did not look like Dementors. I'm assuming they weren't wearing their cloaks and hoods because it gave off a better theatrical effect without it, or something along those lines.
Another problem was the constant focus on Harry. I know he's the center of the whole series, but I like me some Ron and Hermione, and they were hardly in it at all. Too much Harry is not a good thing, especially when he's sporting an awful haircut.
Come on, director. We, as a unified public, demand more Ron and Hermione in matching horizontally-striped outfits. THINK OF ALL THE STRIPE POSSIBILITIES. EVEN THE TWINS JUMPED ON THE BANDWAGON OF STRIPE-ADORATION.
Speaking of. I think James and Oliver Phelps make the movie. They're such great actors.
Isn't it cute when they try to appease the normals and hide their true nature?
I am a Caucasian seventeen-year-old heterosexual female living in Maryland, US.
I like Asian music. Specifically, music from Japan and, more recently, Korea.
Normally, people cannot compute this and/or put these two facts together.
That is why I come to the Internet. That is why no real-life friends are allowed to see this Vox account. Most of my real-life friends can associate with me on LiveJournal anyway. Or, y'know, in real life.
I simply just need a place to pour out my thoughts on whatever is taking over my private life at the time. This could relate to wFL (w-inds., FLAME, Lead), Johnny's Entertainment (Arashi, NewS, KAT-TUN, Kanjani8, Tackey & Tsubasa, V6), SM Entertainment (Super Junior, DBSK, BoA), Hello!Project (Morning Musume, Berryz Koubou, C-ute, Biyuuden, Melon Kinenbi, Goto Maki), and potentially others who I have yet to discover. I know a few of the agencies listed are more extensive and contain other groups than what I have typed, but all of those stated are my specific favorites right now. Thus, they will be the ones most likely talked about.
I could also go into the territory of Asian dramas, mainly JDramas (1 Litre of Tears, Hana Yori Dango 1&2, Nobuta wo Produce, Stand Up!!, Gokusen 1&2), anime/manga, or yaoi/shounen ai.
Or I could be completely unpredictable and talk about something not Asian. I might comment about my schoolwork, my friends, various troubles I'm suffering, anything and everything related to the Harry Potter series, or something utterly random and off-the-wall like a particularly scrumptious pastry I consumed earlier in the day.
Or I could just talk. Period.
No one said you had to listen. ^_-
